As part of Conpulsion Lite, we will be hosting some panels featuring prominent creators from around the world on Saturday, 9 April 2022. We have two panels featuring six distinguished guests across five different time zones!

All panels will be streamed live on the Geas Twitch channel, and viewers will be able to take part in a live Q&A with the guests via the Twitch chat.

A panel where mōrgue and Gregor will take you through the secrets behind (re)designing the cult classic RPG a|state that was first launched at Conpulsion 2004. Now an exciting new edition has been successfully funded in 2021 on Kickstarter and is due for publication in 2022.

a|state second edition, published by Handiwork Games, revises the cult classic Scottish dystopian urban sci-fi RPG using the Forged in the Dark ruleset. You can find more information about this edition on the kickstarter page:

Morgan Davie (He/Him), aka mōrgue, is a Kiwi game designer and podcaster living in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. He has worked on the Doctor Who RPG for Cubicle 7, a writing resource for school kids called Game of Awesome, and now the second edition of a|state.

Gregor Hutton (He/Him) is a games designer and illustrator living in Edinburgh. He worked on the original a|state in the early 2000s, and a number of indie games since, including 3:16 Carnage Amongst The Stars. Gregor is one of the designers of a|state second edition.

This panel brings together people who create games and gaming communities from Latin America, India, Scotland, and South-East Asia to explore what we can learn from each other.

Indrani Ganguly (she/they) is the founder of Nonagon Dice, India’s only dice and TTRPG accessories shop, and co-founder of Desis & Dragons, the largest on-line TTRPG community in India.

momatoes (she/her) is a game and visual designer known for ARC, The Magus, and Capybara Capers. She also manages Across-RPGSEA, a discovery tool to promote TTRPG creators from South-East Asia.

Wendi Yu (she/they) has made games such as Marvelous Mutations & Merry Musicians, Apotheosis Janitors, and more recently here, there, be monsters! which features in the LATAM Breakout anthology.

Yubi (they/them) is an ENNIE-Award-Winning game writer and accessibility consultant from Scotland who contributed to Uncaged Anthology and Heckna. They are also an accessibility activist within the community.
