Title: The Sound Of The Underground
System: TRACK DOGS
GM: Alexa MacBett
Age: Teen (ages 12+)
Genre: Weird Science Fantasy
Tags: Newbie Friendly, GM’s Own System
Players: 3-5
Content warnings: None
Description: TRACK DOGS is a Powered By The Apocalypse game about train pirates and other railway-rethemed hallmarks of the golden age of sail in an arboreal post apocalypse. It takes inspiration from Mortal Engines, Sunless Sea and other science fantasy sources. Players assume one of nine archetypal playbooks and embark on adventures over the top of (and into the depths of) the “Seven Cedars”; the enormous expanse of old-growth forest that now covers the planet earth.
In “The Sound Of The Underground” players assume the roles of a human subspecies known as “undergrounders”. Dwelling in the dark tunnels of the mythical “crush depth” and pale of skin and eye, you are very different from the “overgrounders” of the surface and your ideas of culture, society, and even what a track dog is are quite different and alien to them.
Yet when an overgrounder royal falls from the surface down into your dark subterranean world, your crew is assembled to transport them back where they came from and forge relations with the strange sun-touched folk of the surface. The journey is treacherous and the tunnels your train must travel uncharted. Can you get the royal scion home?
In “The Sound Of The Underground” players will be presented with different variations of the nine playbooks than are normally used when playing non-undergrounder track dogs. These variations will be largely cosmetic and will mostly reflect the difference in values and attitudes between the undergrounders and their counterparts on the surface.
Title: The Concrete Jungle
System: Cybertopia
GM: Ben Newbon
Age: Adult Only (ages 16+)
Genre: Cyberpunk
Tags: Rules Lite, Newbie Friendly, GM’s Own System
Players: 3-4
Content warnings: Typical cyberpunk themes: crime, drugs, body-modification, oppression, police violence, etc.
Lines & veils safety tools will be in use.
Description: Cybertopia, the game created by this GM and used in the actual play podcast of the same name, is a very simple single fiction-first d20 system where players can create any kind of character they like – there are no set lists or skill trees to choose from (although example templates are provided for inspiration), you can have whatever skills or gear you can think of and stack them up in whatever combinations make sense in the moment.
This near future sci-fi setting is utopian to some, dystopian to others but players have the freedom to take on the world however they please. This scenario is a fast and loose action investigation that will test characters from a variety of angles and provide many routes to the answers they seek but the pressure will ramp up to keep intensity and tension high throughout.
Title: The Disappearance of the Transfigured Poet
System: Fallen London Quickstart
GM: Emu
Age: Adult Only (ages 16+)
Genre: Victoriana Eldritch

Players: 2-5
Content warnings: Drug Use and abuse, body horror including fungal horror, spiders
Description: London was stolen by bats forty years ago and now dwells in neath an underground cavern where all sorts of weirdness dwells.
It is now 1899 and you are members of a concern called The Hunters – a name you agreed upon, barely, even though most of them aren’t actually hunters. Your shared purpose: to destroy the greatest monsters of the Neath. You might not all see eye to eye on who or what these monsters are… but that’s a dispute for later. Their principal, the Prescriptive Naturalist, is a renowned hunter; they’ve won trophies from places most of the PCs have only heard of.
At the moment, the your concern has set its sights on a relatively minor “great monster”. Jack of Smiles, the seemingly immortal serial killer, doesn’t menace London as they would were death permanent…but they still slay innocents across London in extraordinarily unpleasant ways, and every death exacts its price upon the victim. Jack has been killed and returned; they’ve been imprisoned and returned. The Hunters seek the means to destroy Jack of Smiles for good.
First, though, that means learning about your prey… and the Prescriptive Naturalist has connected them with an opportunity to do just that! An acquaintance of the Naturalist named the Ambitious Muse has just recently been looking for capable and discrete operatives to work on her behalf. In exchange for helping her, she’ll connect the concern with a former protégé of hers who claims to have actually stolen one of Jack’s knives. All she needs the concern to do is find a missing poet: Myles Remington.

Description: When the planetary support craft Tuscan II dropped into the Holeback system to resupply a science station, it did not expect to find an old Mk III colony supply and support vessel drifting near the jump in point. A two hundred year old vessel sitting there, drifting in space, minimal power. A two hundred year old vessel three kilometres long and worth a fortune.
The Captain of the Tuscan decided how many crew he could spare, the Tuscan is still bound to its duties, and lots were drawn from volunteers.
So a minimal crew are being sent across to check to see if it can be powered up. If the drives are there and repairable the Tuscan will drop off whatever parts are needed and get back to its job, leaving those who are claiming the salvage with the job of limping it to the nearest trade hub to claim the prize.
Hopefully they’ll get life support working or it will be a dull trip in suits and survival shelters relying on air reclamation and tanked gas.

Genre: Humorous Urban Absurdist Fantasy
Tags: Rules Lite, Newbie Friendly
Players: 3-5
Content warnings: Crime, Harm to Animals, Violence, Crude Humour
Description: HoneyCon 2025 approaches, and as a very well-respected gang of criminals, its prime territory for a heist that could launch your names to stardom. Just one thing: you’re very much an actual, furred, four-legged bear. Which, depending on the day, could either be a boon or a problem.
Within the walls of HoneyCon hides the honey heist of a lifetime, enough honey to set up you and your family for at least maybe like… a generation and a half? If you exercise moderation (not your strongest suit but… still). But that’s not all. An even greater, mysterious prize lies at the center of the convention–prized enough you know there’s a very real chance others will have their eyes on the prize too. It’s simple: strike true, strike fast, and avoid the frankly ridiculous security measures put in place to protect the bees and honey, and then? Profit! And recognition of course, from Papa Bear most of all.
Honey Heist is a light-hearted, beginner-friendly module encouraging whimsy, creativity, and humour! There are only two stats for players to worry about as they travel the halls as the bear of their criminal dreams: Bear and Criminal, and its all about balance.

Genre: Fantasy horror
Tags: Rules Lite

Content warnings: Body horror, insects
Description: When Prince Hardrada rose in rebellion against the Bastard King, he killed the man who had conquered the Isle of Kybaros, and ruled with an iron fist from his stronghold of Thraxford Castle. But the Bastard King was cursed for his hubris; it is said that he cannot die.
From the horizon, Thraxford Castle now appears as a ruin. But all who die within a thousand feet of the castle, or who are present within that area at dawn, are afflicted by the curse. Whether alive or dead, they cannot travel beyond the area of the curse, and those who die rise again the next day as undead.
Within a thousand feet, the castle begins to appear as it truly is: the undead occupants of the castle go about a macabre theatre of their lives.
Title: The Crimson Countess
System: Bloodheist
GM: Sunny Harrison
Age: Adult Only (ages 16+)
Genre: Macabre-Comic Gothic Horror
Tags: Rules Lite, Newbie Friendly
Players: 4-6
Content warnings: Some mild body horror and gothic horror themes. Violence and crime.
Description: Dracula won, and the Undying Empire he built is ruled by immortal, squabbling vampire clans. You will play as a gang of criminals, hired by a powerful vampire to steal a valuable object from a rival. Human or undead, your characters are outsiders, unaffiliated with any one Great House, hired for the jobs that can’t be traced back to your employer.
Use your wits, tools, and perhaps an occult ritual or two to even the (frankly horrifying) odds and you might just escape with your lives. Fail, and an Awful Fate or even a Grand Doom might befall you.
Bloodheist is a rules-light D6-based system with an emphasis on creative problem-solving, daring, and responding to the unexpected. The aristocratic vampires who rule the Undying Empire with fangs of iron are Very Hard To Kill, but you just might be smarter than them, so if you are brave, fearless, and perhaps a little bit lucky, the prize could be yours.
