The tabletop game industry is experiencing a significant renaissance, transitioning from a niche hobby into a mainstream, multi-billion-pound global market. With such growth, comes concerns over use of resources, fair workplace practices and job security.
Such aspects need open discussion and support, and this is where IWGB Game Workers provides a platform to empower workers who work on board games, card games, role-playing games (RPGs), and miniature wargames.
This session looks to explore what it takes to build momentum amongst workers, examining the steps needed to make such change happen from start to finish, and overall share the experiences of tabletop workers who have joined the union.
