| Description | Bizarre British Wrestling is a promotion going through some issues. Multiple injured wrestlers, a writing team in meltdown, the loss of a streaming contract… Will you be the wrestler who finds opportunity in the ongoing chaos? Will you push for money? The love of the crowd? The respect of your peers? A championship? Or something more personal? Will you be a beloved Babyface, or villainous Heel? Will you be a monster on the microphone, or make your magic in the ring? Will you stand tall or take a fall? Find out at “Freaky in Auld Reekie!” World Wide Wrestling is a Powered by the Apocalypse game focused on the lives of professional wrestlers both inside and outside the ring. It uses a relatively simple 2d6 die system with the ability to spend momentum in order to juice up your die rolls. At any time that players are in a match, the other players can jump onto the commentary team, adding colour to commentary and even putting over the players once per match, turning failure to success with a few well chosen words. The tone of this game is going to be more focused on the more extravagant wrestling styles of the early 90s and Lucha Libre than more aggressive styles of wrestling like Strong Style or Deathmatch. This is more Goofy Wrestling for Life than Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch. While you don’t need to be a full on connoisseur of the squared circle, it does help to know a little bit about wrestling. AAA Lucha Libre can currently be viewed for free on YouTube, as can a lot of classic matches from a variety of promotions. |

| Description | I will be running a one shot called Horror at Briarfoot Mill. Once a symbol of hope and compassion, Briarfoot Mill has fallen silent. The great sails have ceased to turn, and the gears within are silent. The Briarfoots themselves have become strange and reclusive, and a series of bizarre events in nearby villages have fueled rumours that something is deeply wrong at the mill. Are you willing to risk your life to uncover the truth? Winter’s Bones is a game of folk horror, inevitable decay, fleeting hope, and small heroism. The system is designed for short campaigns and tragic, bittersweet stories. A rules light horror hex-crawler, Winter’s Bones is a unique mix of old and new. Redwall meets Robert W. Chambers. Players take on the role of Mice in a world of fleeting summers, and dark, unforgiving winters. As the summer sun fades, and the frost takes hold, nightmarish creatures emerge from deep below the surface to terrorize its unfortunate inhabitants. These monsters are the spawn of the ‘Deep Still’. A cold, malignant presence buried far below the frostline. It’s true nature is a mystery, but all Mice know to fear it. Try as you might, Winter will claim you in the end. What will you leave behind? |

| Description | Note: This is a demo/playtest for a campaign-based board game. Sessions are expected to take 75 to 90 minutes. In Ng6 (place-holder title), you play a team of heroes battling and exploring through a series of scenarios unified by an overarching plot. Mission objectives vary, going beyond simply “killing all the enmies in the room”. Each scenario alternates between player and enemy turns, but with a twist: After an untimed planning phase, the rest of the team’s turn plays in 5 minutes of real time! This is a game for players that thrive under pressure, like fast action, and enjoy meaningful co-operation/communication during combat. Though first concieved as a board game, we’re looking to try this with RPG players to see if the combat system could have potential in RPGs also. Feedback from previous players: “Is this a Gloomhaven Killer???” – D_B Games “I wish I could just replace D&D combat with this system” – Matt “I need you to hurry-up and finish making this board game: like now” – Floss |

| Description | Not but yesterday, a red dragon flew from the mountains and attacked the city of Byriver in the night. Orange flame painted the south side of the city, resulting in the burning of three fields and two homes. Four people were killed, and eleven were gravely injured. The dragon then bellowed his demands to the city from the top of the castle: “In four days, leave me all your gold and jewels in the temple ruins in the mountain, and your city will be safe from the wrath of I, Haldraxis.” He then flew back into the mountains to await his payment. The king, unwilling to bargain with a dragon, knows that there are heroes in his midst who could save Byriver from destruction. Heroes like you. |
