The Welcoming Association is a charity dedicated to supporting the social, cultural and economic integration of New Scots (refugees, asylum seekers and migrants) in Edinburgh. We currently have over 6,000 registered members from 135 different nationalities, with the top five nationalities being Sudan, Ukraine, Syria, Hong Kong, and Afghanistan. We offer a range of activities and services including ESOL classes, employability support, social activities, home energy advice, and holistic casework.
