Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony at the Conpulsion does a few things.  It allows us to announce the Griffies, award the banquo, give the final total raised for charity and bring the convention to its official (if not actual) close.  It is also a chance for us to say thank you to everybody who made the convention happen, from guests to committee and from GM’s to the most important people of all: the attendees.

But arguably the most important part of the closing ceremony is our last chance to raise money for our brilliant charity, and your last opportunity to nab a bargain (or a very weird piece of Conpulsion memorabilia…). I’m talking about the Conpulsion Fire Sale, a quick moving inverse auction, where literally anything and everything could be for sale. Most of the really big ticket items will go at the charity auction on the Saturday, but if you want to grab something small, cheap and sweet, then come along and get swept up in the madness fun!
